Our Crocodile Bay Trip Has Perfect Timing
The 2017 fishing season and excitement for our Crocodile Bay trip is heating up. There is still time to join us February 25 or any time this season. Check out the photos below of fish since New Year’s Eve. The biggest fish caught this past week was 500 hundred pounds and bigger fish are on the way. It is still a little early for the really big fish–the bill fish are increasing and inshore fishing has been awesome.
Here is a great sequence of a marlin jumping, coming to the boat and being released.
The Sailfish Are Biting Too
A Crocodile Bay trip is all about sailfish are they are coming in with increasing numbers and size. Nearly every boat is getting multiple strikes in the teasers with sailfish and the marlin are cruising around the current lines.
Outstanding Inshore Fishing
Inshore fishing has been very strong with many snapper over the reefs, roosterfish running the beaches and African pompano, jacks, amberjacks and Bluefin trevally in the mix. Several boats have logged numbers of a dozen to over 20 roosters a day.
Or maybe you prefer tuna. Pound for pound, tuna is the toughest fight in the ocean from my view. You will definitely get a work out with one of these big fish. Check out the awesome yellow fin below.
